Message from our Minister
We are a centre that is linked together with other centres by our spiritual philosophy.
Our Philosophy:
Life continues after physical death.
Our aim is to give proof of this, through our Mediums, at each of our services by passing on messages from those who have passed over.
Our doctrine:
We don't have one as we believe in the free will of every person.
We do have Seven Principles which are the basis of our understanding.
What is Spiritualism?
Spiritualism is a way of life.
It helps you to focus on how you wish to live and how you wish to interact with others.
It also allows you to appreciate the beauty of nature and to develop the oneness with yourself and all that lives and grows on Mother Earth.
Spiritualism is a philosophy that is based around Seven Principles.
These Principles were received direct from Spirit through the mediumship of Emma Harding Britten, one of the pioneers of modern Spiritualism.
They are not used as a dogma or creed, but rather as guidelines around which you can base your own way of spiritual living.
Within the Spiritual philosophy, we believe in the free will of every person to choose what they wish to believe in, and to have the right to change those beliefs at any time, as they learn and grow.
Why Spiritualism?
People come into Spiritualism for many different reasons and find that it become, for them, a way of life. Some of the advantages gained from living spiritualty are:
Inner Peace and Harmony.
Freedom to choose your own pathway.
Freedom to be who you are and to allow others to be who they are.
A closer connection with the Spirit Realm.
A finer appreciation of the beauty of nature.
Freedom to choose your own beliefs,
and to change those beliefs whenever you wish.
Friendship and companionship with like minded people.
Love, Light & Laughter,
Dianne.
Your Minister.
Spiritualism
Spiritualism embodies the main ideas of all religions that there is life after death, man is immortal and we acknowledge the existence of a God.
Our mediums prove that man survives physical death and that there is a path of eternal progress for all mankind with an acceptance of responsibility for one's own actions.
The Address during a Divine Service is given on the Philosophy of Spiritualism which is based on seven fundamental principles.
You are most welcome to attend one of our services and speak to a committee member.
You are welcome to come and share the friendly, peaceful atmosphere that surrounds us in our meeting room and while doing so, come to understand there is no death, only a separation in the physical sense.
At each of our Services, our Mediums supply proof of this by connecting with those who have passed over.
Our Services
Our Services are approximately an hour to one and a quarter hours duration and include, a reading, a spiritual address, and a demonstration of Spirit Communication.
After each Service a cup of tea or coffee is provided together with the opportunity for discussion.
Spiritual Healing usually takes place during the Service, but anyone requiring personal healing is welcome to receive it.
This can be arranged by speaking to any of the Committee Members.
We run development circles, discussion groups, clairvoyant days, workshops and other special events on a one-off basis.
When you are interested in any of these activities, please do not hesitate to contact us.
